Benjamin Aranda is Principal at Aranda\Lasch, an architecture and design studio based in New York and Tucson, AZ. Through a deep investigation of structures and materials, Aranda\Lasch designs buildings, installations, and furniture. The studio has won the United States Artists Fellowship, the Young Architects Award, the Design Vanguard Award, and the Architectural League Emerging Voices Award, and have been recognized as AD Innovators. Their early work is the subject of the 2005 book Tooling, which was published as part of the Pamphlet Architecture series. Represented by Gallery ALL, Aranda\Lasch has also exhibited internationally in galleries, museums, design fairs, and biennials, and their work is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The studio’s current building projects include stores in Miami, an outdoor theater in Gabon, and an art park in Bali.
