Jacob Marshall creates collaborative work between artists, brands, and causes. He graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College at Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Aesthetic Theory. Marshall went on to create the acclaimed rock band Mae, whose title stands for “multisensory aesthetic experience” and which was inspired by his funded research. He has sold over 500,000 records worldwide and performed over 1,600 concerts on five continents. After creating a yearlong music and global humanitarian initiative with his band, he was asked to join and build a new type of agency that specializes in artist, brand, and cause partnerships. Marshall now serves as CEO and Senior Connector at MORE partnership[s], where he works with some of the world’s largest and most innovative public and private companies to coordinate their cause partnerships with some of the world’s best artists. He worked to help launch the Global Citizen Festival and currently serves as a member of the advisory board for Future of Storytelling. He is also the Cultural Curator for the Wedgwood Circle Institute and is developing strategic partnerships for National Sawdust. Marshall is passionate about collaboration and using creativity to solve some of the world’s most pressing problems.
