Maureen Sullivan, born and based in New York, has worked nationally and internationally with artists and art organizations, participating in strategic planning, marketing, communications, and limited-edition and event production. In June 2008, she began her own consultancy, Red Art Projects, which balances independent curatorial projects with writing and works directly with artists, galleries, and organizations on communications for special projects. Red Art Projects has collaborated with Doug Aitken, Jeremy Blake, Thorsten Brinkmann, Cai Guo-Qiang, Marilyn Manson, Moby, Eve Sussman, Jennifer Wen Ma, and many other artists. Sullivan previously served as Marketing and Communications Director at Creative Time for four years and at the New Museum for five years. Additionally, her current and past consulting projects include work for the FLAG Art Foundation, New York; Izolyatsia, Kiev; SculptureCenter, New York; the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, DC; Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco; Colección Júmex, Mexico City; and Checkerboard Films, New York, among other organizations.
