Paul Amitai has led public programs, partnerships, media productions, and research initiatives with Google, Intel, Mozilla, Shapeways, Eyebeam, Magnum Foundation, and Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival among other cultural organizations and technology companies. He has also developed and produced digital content and program strategy for arts institutions like the Met Opera and Cleveland Museum of Art, and creative tech incubators such as the Made in NY Media Center. Amitai is currently Director of Events and Public Programs at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP). He was previously Project Director and Senior Curator at Eyebeam, founder and curator of the New York Festival of Electronic Composers and Improvisers, and curator/producer of work presented at Performa (NYC), ZERO1 Biennial (San Jose), and FACT (Liverpool). Amitai also developed and led the undergraduate program in Creative Direction at London College of Fashion during its inaugural year.
