MIRIAM SIMUN / miriamsimun.com
Miriam Simun makes creative disruptions: objects, documents, and experiences that poke, provoke, and reimagine existing systems. Based in scientific, historical, and ethnographic research, much of her work interrogates the implications of socio-technical and ecological change.
Simun’s work has been presented internationally, including at the Museum of Arts and Design, New York; the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation Project Space, New York; Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, New York; and the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Her work has been supported by Creative Capital, the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, the Joan Mitchell Foundation, and the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, and it has been featured on the BBC, CBC, and MTV, and in the New York Times, the New Yorker, Forbes, Art21, and ARTnews.
