Ideas for the City
in partnership with IdeasCity
We believe in the power of art and culture to transform our cities and our communities, and to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing our society today. Along with our partner IdeasCity, we are seeking new ideas for the city that address education, social justice, climate change, urban issues, and other social impact themes in a creative way. Projects may take the form of social enterprises, non-profits, or artistic projects.
This year’s program will include professional development programs, mentorship, public programs and networking opportunities tailored for Ideas for the City participants, featuring mentors, organizers, activists, designers, and community leaders from the IdeasCity global network. At the conclusion of the year, Track members will be invited to present at an event featuring projects incubated by Ideas for the City members.
Artists, designers, community-leaders economists, environmentalists, journalists, policy-makers, and technologists with a specific project or an early stage business or nonprofit that illustrates a strong commitment to art, environment, policy and the city are invited to apply.
To be considered for the Ideas for the City track you must have an aspect of your previous work that engages the public domain, or a major project in progress that engages community.
