Norman Keith White
Keith White began his career in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. Upon leaving the DA’s Office, White opened a private practice and worked with HPD and HUD to develop affordable housing in the NYC community. While previously serving as co-chair of the board of Girls Education Mentoring Services (GEMS), White has remained on the board of this powerful organization that provides continuous and comprehensive services to address the needs of commercially and sexually exploited young women throughout the United States. In addition to GEMS, White is on the board of KAVI (Kings Against Violence Initiative), a nonprofit founded by Dr. Rob Gore that has become critically acclaimed for violence reduction and providing services to under-served communities in New York. White is also a founding board member of the BKLYN COMBINE, a nonprofit organization that partners with schools in underserved communities to provide mentoring and restorative justice programming.
