Holly Hunter is a producer and programmer whose passion is to collaborate with artists who are committed to making work that is relevant to the world and reflective of society. Her current role as Director of National Sawdust Projects & Community Engagement at National Sawdust involves producing, commissioning and touring new interdisciplinary works. Recent projects include The Gauntlet at Rockefeller Center, a performance involving 200 singers from community choirs; Student CoLab, an education program for middle-school music and art students at El Puente Beacon Leadership Center; and touring projects to Kennedy Center, Wallis Annenberg Center, and De Doelen, Rotterdam. In 2018, she was Associate Producer for Lincoln Center Mostly Mozart Festival’s In the Name of the Earth, performed by 800 singers. Before relocating to New York City in 2017, she spent over seven years at London’s Southbank Centre curating festivals, public programs, workshops, and running the singing initiative, Voicelab.
