Andrew Chepaitis

Andrew is the founder of ELIA Life Technology, a developer of assistive products for people who have a visual impairment. The company’s core innovation is a new tactile/visual typeface (like braille), the ELIA Frames Font, which builds on readers' existing knowledge of the standard alphabet.

He is passionate about helping people to achieve greater levels of education, employment, literacy, and independence. To do so, he combines best practices from industrial design and the experimental methods of industrial / organizational psychology. He has served as an NIH as a grant reviewer, and previously worked as an equity research analyst in an investment bank.

In his free time, he can be found running statistical analyses of electoral politics and gerrymandering.
