Anthony Koithra
Anthony Koithra is an independent filmmaker, working in the areas of real-time animation and virtual production, using game engines to make animated films. He also writes and speaks about Storytelling for Business, applying creative frameworks from film and literature to help companies craft compelling narratives.
Until April '22, he was a Managing Director & Partner in the New York office of BCG Digital Ventures, The Boston Consulting Group's innovation, incubation and investment firm. Koithra was part of the firm’s founding team and built several new businesses in travel, consumer, retail and media with major international corporate partners. With his multidisciplinary background, he brought a uniquely empathetic perspective to product development, venture design and business strategy.
In addition, Koithra is a creative technologist and strategic advisor to New York startups in the creative and content fields. He tinkers with code (bluewhitered.org), designs games for fun (whowearegame.com) and paints whenever he has the time (@gargoylesofny).
Koithra has degrees in Engineering and Business, and has lived and worked in the US, Europe, the Middle East and parts of the Asia-Pacific region.
