Diane Jean-Mary

Diane Jean-Mary (she/her) is a cultural strategist and filmmaker with a personal mission to strengthen the ideas, leaders, and communities working to envision and build new possibilities for social justice.

As Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at cultural consultancy LaPlaca Cohen, she brings innovative discourse to the creative sector, advising organizations on cultural entrepreneurship, brand strategy, and visioning for the future. Diane also spearheads Culture Track, a pro bono cultural consumer insights platform aimed at addressing the most pressing challenges in the worlds of culture and creativity.

Before LaPlaca Cohen, Diane led digital streaming analytics and partnership development at Sony Music Entertainment and served as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. She earned a B.A. from Columbia University. She also holds professional certifications in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, International Business from Georgetown University and Narrative Filmmaking from the FAMU Film School of Prague.
