Marc Rabinowitz

Designer, experience strategist, and educator Marc Rabinowitz has two decades of experience partnering with entrepreneurs / startups / SMBs / Fortune 100s to integrate the needs of people and the possibilities of technology into meaningful work that drives business success. He has led teams to build elegant products, digital systems, and brand experiences for companies challenged by their own gnarly digital ecosystems.

As a Sr. Product Design Director at Squarespace, he co-built and led Squarespace’s first Platform organization to deliver a best-in-class experience across the company’s evolving product suite. This follows 4+ years as a Director of Experience Strategy at Code and Theory, a digital-first creative agency, where he led experience design and transformation efforts for some of the agency’s largest engagements, increasing the operational capacity of client partners in service of creative excellence. Notable clients include NBC News, The Outline, JP Morgan, CNN, Bloomberg, New York Life, and New York City Ballet. Marc's work has been recognized by AIGA, the Art Director's Club, SXSW Interactive Awards, Fast Company, D&AD and Digiday.


Marc has focused his career on building brands, products, processes & future leaders with an eye towards shaping culture and changing behavior for the better. Grabbing every opportunity to elevate the design discourse, he teaches/advises the next generation of design entrepreneurs at the School of Visual Arts MFA Design program and previously served the New York design community as VP Operations on the AIGA NY Executive Board of Directors.
