Melinda Wang
Melinda Wang is a multi-hyphenate contemporary art curator, M&A and securities lawyer, startup advisor and angel investor. She is an advisor to startups in the fintech, blockchain-based technology and mediatech spaces, and is an active angel investor. She is part of Pipeline Angels and a steering committee member of Princeton Alumni Angels. Wang is also the Founder of MW Projects, a cultural production and art advisory firm dedicated to bringing contemporary art to historic sites and liminal spaces, and the Founder of Ninth Street Collective. She was previously the Executive Director of NYAEA and founded Equity Gallery. Wang has practiced corporate law since 2002, with a focus on M&A, capital markets and corporate finance. She also serves as outside general counsel to emerging and established businesses at every stage of their life-cycle. She was previously Senior Vice President at XL Group and associated with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.
