Unnamed Friends
Unnamed Friends is a collective building solidarity models and community support systems for a more regenerative future. Centering care over capital, we run provocations in collaboration with the NEW INC community. The collective came about through a series of organic conversations among interested NEW INC community members. Currently this work is being stewarded by NEW INC alumni Alex Darby, Austin Robey, Bhavik Singh, Noya Kohavi.
Alex Darby is a creative producer and cultural strategist. She is the Founder of The Hybrid Studio, a creative consultancy and cultural ecosystem for artists and creative practitioners, supporting hybrid practice through advocacy and art production.
Austin Robey is a partner and co-founder of Metalabel. Previously, Austin co-founded Ampled, a cooperatively owned platform for musicians. In his work and writing, Austin advocates for collective ownership, solidarity economics, and new models for online creative economies.
Bhavik Singh is an artist and technologist who creates software that is intimate, slow, & community powered.
Noya Kohavi is a technologist, writer and independent consultant. Her work utilizes computer vision and computational linguistics to generate new narratives and insights, focusing on data ethics and a queer approach to computing
