Houman Saberi, Raul Enriquez
Raul Enriquez and Houman Saberi are community technologists who work to demystify the internet and grow technology as a means to building healthy relationships that uplift local visions. They believe that communications technology can serve as a tool to advance the transformational resilience of communities impacted by the climate crisis. For the past three years they have worked in partnership with NYC based community organizations to provide the training and resources needed for residents to build their own internet from the ground-up. Currently, they are focused on building portable and decentralized networking kits to further their vision of an infrastructure based on equity and inclusion.
