Mattia Casalegno

Mattia Casalegno is an Italian artist known for his sculptures and his immersive, relational, and participatory installations. He often deploys emerging technologies to investigate themes of phenomenology, ecology and cybernetics. In 2017, Casalegno moved his studio from Los Angeles to New York, and is currently based at the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts. He has received many awards and fellowships by institutions such as NYFA, GAI, Eyebeam, and the Chronus Art Center in Shanghai, among others.
