Iz Nettere

Iz is a designer using sculpture and creative research to consider epistemological questions around memory, objectivity, and materiality. Their current research practice puts an account of corporeality in the context of material and nonhuman epistemic agents. They are interested in the living archive, analog data, and embodied ways of knowing. They were an undergraduate researcher in the MIT Media Lab’s Scalable Cooperation Lab and hold an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design, where they are also adjunct faculty. Iz lives and works in Brooklyn.
