Melody Stein
studio VISIT is a creative workshop for land-based research, practice, and design. Founded by landscape architect and artist Melody Stein, studio VISIT’s mission is to develop deeper understandings of how people engage with land and how the materials of landscape can be used to reveal and convey complex histories and narratives about place. studio VISIT is an engine for collaboration and making across disciplines, scales, and gradients of public to private work. Critical to this work is a belief in the temporality and endurance of presence, and that ultimately, we’re all just visitors on this planet.
