Laura Feinstein
Laura Feinstein is Kickstarter's Senior Design & Tech Editor, where she mentors creators working within the Design & Tech space and overseeing the vertical's editorial partnerships. Kickstarter's Design & Tech team were the 2020 recipients of Cooper Hewitt's Design Visionaries Award. Prior to working at Kickstarter, Laura was a writer and editor for 15 years, writing about design, technology, and culture for T/The New York Times, The Guardian, Surface, CityLab at The Atlantic, and VICE, where she briefly worked as EIC of The Creators Project. Through her years of editorial and media experience, she frequently helps creators to hone in on message, expand their vision, and frequently offers mentorship and artist statement assistance.
