Julianna Morais
Julianna Morais is Vice President of Design at Henrybuilt. Since joining the company’s New York office in 2007, Morais has built the design studio from a solo practice to a team of architects designing over 300 projects a year.Morais has focused on developing best practices for the company’s award-winning system design approach. Prior to Henrybuilt, Morais worked at Frank Gehry as an Associate Architect. She has edited several publications with Thom Mayne/Morphosis and as Director of Publications at SCI Arc she worked directly with Erin Owen Moss on a number of books. Morais consulted for the international research-design collaborative servo on multiple projects, such as New Hotels for Global Nomads at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, the Genealogy of Speed for Nike, and Thermocline for the “Mood River” exhibition at the Wexner Center for Contemporary Art.
