Leonie Beckett-Kruizenga

Leonie Beckett-Kruizenga is a fundraising and development professional, and leadership coach. She has extensive experience in both the performing as well as in the visual arts world. Leonie has worked in New York City and Amsterdam as head of development for the Swiss Institute New York,  advisor at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten and development director for the Holland Festival. She created and led the fundraising campaign for the internationally renowned, once-in-a-lifetime event aus LICHT (2019), a co-production of Holland Festival, Dutch National Opera and the Dutch Royal Conservatoire, and served on the multi-disciplinary arts panel of the New York City Department for Cultural Affairs. She is a King Baudouin Foundation US alumna, was part of the steering committee of the national network of cultural philanthropy in the Netherlands and she serves on boards of several arts organizations. As a consultant she helps both arts organizations as well as individual artists and collectives
