Jamica El
Jamica is an artist, researcher and entrepreneur living, loving and creating in Oakland, CA - the ancestral lands of the Chochenyo-speaking Ohlone people. Their work is fueled by a mission to support Black creatives in crafting sustainable legacies that take up more space in the world. Jamica works with creatives, brands, and organizations to develop research, experiences, and publications that highlight more loving ways to work, create, and care for ourselves. Her personal arts practice includes collage art, design, neon sculpture and turntablism and her current work builds upon her passion as an activist, artist, and Web 3 advocate. Jamica spends their free time consuming beautiful Black stories, collaging, or in fellowship with sister-friends.
