Atim Oton
Nigerian American Atim Annette Oton is an art curator, gallerist, and entrepreneur whose expertise is in visual art and design education, exhibition and retail with over 25 years of experience. She runs Calabar Gallery in New York with a local and global art strategy. She founded it in Harlem with a Crown Heights location focused on Afican and Dispora Art, Black Artists and and has licensed artwork for the spotlight series of puzzles for Spin Master Games sold at Target and Walmart.
She was the African Art Curator for AMREF Health Africa ARTBALL and Bronx:Africa. She has raised over $3 million dollars for art and design institutions as well as several International nonprofits: Bronx River Arts Center, Mind-Builders and Amref Health Africa through art initiatives.
