Becky Schutt

Becky has 20+ years experience as a NED, Strategic Advisor & Program Developer for a range of creative initiatives in over 20 countries in the Global South and North. She is particularly interested in deploying intercultural fluency, relationship building, and creative processes in systems-change; and collaborating with pioneering (but humble) leaders instigating ambitious social initiatives.

She led British Council’s £9m Developing Inclusive and Creative Economies (DICE) program in Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, South Africa and the UK; initiated the 2012 Relaxed Performance Project for people with severe autism, catalyzing a global movement in theatre access; and established and led the Culture & Arts Management MBA course at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.

Other organizational partners past and present include Arts and Homelessness International (600+ strong network), Crossing Borders Education (intercultural dialogue focused on climate emergency), Nesta (impact investment in creative economies), King's Culture at King's College London (artist/academic partnerships), and Venice Biennale Fellowships at the British Pavilion.
