Sruti Suryanarayanan
Sruti Suryanarayanan is a Tamizh American craftsperson and writer, co-organizing with Art.coop to celebrate and sustain creatives who keep the Solidarity Economy in a state of thrival. Sruti develops tools to help people collaboratively question the current capitalist system while centering critical compassion, relying on the deep ancestral traditions of material and movement craft of our families and communities, and has helped produce learning modules and toolkits, as well as reports and zines, on non-hierarchical ways of collaborating. In addition to their work at Art.coop, Sruti organizes with SALAM, while cooking and crafting with their loved ones.
