Sylwia Serafinowicz

Dr Sylwia Serafinowicz is the Managing Director of Blessed Foundation, curator, and writer. Serafinowicz sees exhibitions, public programs and digital platforms as opportunities to build better, equal futures. Serafinowicz graduated with a PhD in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art and an MA in History of Art from the University of Warsaw, Poland. Her PhD thesis was dedicated to the dynamic relationship between photography, moving image and performance. Serafinowicz continues to work at the intersection of visual, ephemeral arts and emerging technologies. Curated projects include the "Future-proof" series of talks, Blessed Foundation, 2023 - ongoing; exhibitions "We Protect You From Yourselves", Biennale Warszawa, 2020; "Labor Relations", 2016, Wroclaw Contemporary Museum; and solo shows by Kendall Geers, Franko B, kennardphillipps, Shikeith, Chila Kumari Burman, Ewa Axelrad, and others. Her texts appeared in Artforum, Afterall Art School, Contemporary Lynx, Not. Fot, Art and Documentation. Serafinowicz is a member of the British Art Network and the Executive Committee of AICA UK.
