Ariana Faye Allensworth

Ariana Faye Allensworth is a New York City-based artist and creative leader with a passionate belief in the radical potential of art and design to reimagine and transform systems. With interests in spatial justice and the politics of belonging, she works with organizations and communities to shift culture and amplify marginalized narratives.

Ariana currently works as Design Director at the global design and innovation firm IDEO, leading a portfolio of strategic initiatives that use design to advance a more inclusive and equitable workplace culture. She has previously led programming at The International Center of Photography, The Center for Cultural Power, and Youth Speaks. Ariana is a founding member of the New York City chapter of the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project, a multimedia housing justice collective. She has participated in residencies with The Laundromat Project, Pioneer Works, and Pocoapoco. Her latest project, Staying Power, is a print and online publishing platform dedicated to amplifying a people’s history of public housing.
